About Us

Our Mission

White River Heritage is committed to raising the necessary funds to restore the White Cloud, MI city millpond on the
White River. Our focus is on preserving the ecosystem and maintaining the engineered beauty of the area.
Through community involvement we aim to stimulate the funds required to rehabilitate the City dam.

Our Need

The rehabilitation of the City of White Cloud Dam and restoration of Lake White Cloud has been costed

in the range of $14.3 million to $18.6 million for the complete project.  The structure has been

confirmed to be stable in a structural engineering study published in February 2025, making rehabilitation feasible.
